Villetta in the Vineyard of Valpolicella
Valpolicella is mainly known in the world for the fame of its wines. Thanks to its position and the favourable climate, advantaged by the protection of the Alps, viticulture has been widespread here since the Roman Empire and can boast several indigenous grape varieties.
The landscape of Valpolicella is adorned with Venetian villas of great value and its beauty is completed by, churches, parish churches and ancient houses.
The "Casa del Custode" ( C.I.023076-LOC-00064) is located in the heart of the Valpolicella region, surrounded by vineyards, and was originally the home of the caretaker of the nearby Venetian villa, Villa Pule, built around 1630 with its majestic avenue of cypress trees. The Villa is now inhabited by its owners and it is situated in the center of the large estate.
ARRIVAL
From the gated entrance, the house is reached by a paved road passing through the private vineyards and leading to the little garden and the covered parking place. On the property, there is also space for two other cars.
LIVING AREA
The Villetta boasts an outdoor al fresco patio, as well as a comfortable living room with two sofas, a flat satellite tv and a view of the surrounding vineyards. On the floor, you will find a fully-equipped kitchen with a gas stove, a dishwasher and all the necessary amenities to prepare a perfect dinner for your friends or family, there is also a blue toilette.
During your stay, you can enjoy a cooking class or a dinner prepared by our chef with the typical recipes of Valpolicella, such as Risotto all’Amarone, or prepare lunch with the bbq that you find in the garden. The dining room is spacious enough to have lunch or dinner all together.
In the fenced garden there is a big table with seats for all the guests to enjoy the fresh air of the vineyard Valpolicella.
BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS
On the first floor, the light green master bedroom has a double bed and a bathroom with a shower, bathtub and air conditioning.
The light blue bedroom has a double bed, a sofa and air conditioning.
The third bedroom is composed of two single beds and has a fan. In front of it there is a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The villa's interior features the typical Italian style, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the local culture and atmosphere.
In the basement of the house, you will find a room with a washing machine.

If you’d like to try local specialities during your stay, head to the restaurants or grocery stores 5 minutes away. Verona is reachable with a 15-minute drive while the lake of Garda is just 30 minutes away.

The house is an ancient house fully renovated with modern and top of the line appliances. Warm as needed when we were there in winter. The house is so pretty and comfortable that it was hard for us to leave every day to go on our rounds! Highly recomsee more
