Lake Garda enjoys a moderate Mediterranean climate thanks to its geographical position between the Alps and the Po Valley. The climatic conditions vary slightly depending on the seasons, but in general, the climate is pleasant throughout the year.
During the summer, from June to August, the weather at Lake Garda is warm and sunny. Temperatures diurnal usually hover between 25ºC and 30ºC warmer days. The evenings are pleasantly cool, making the nights very pleasant. In autumn, from September to November, the weather is still pleasant, with sunny days and moderate temperatures. The temperatures are generally maintained between 20ºC and 25ºC in September, but drop slightly as we approach winter.
During the winter, from December to February, temperatures cool, but Lake Garda continues to enjoy a mild climate compared to other northern regions. Daytime temperatures may vary from 5ºC to 10ºC, but may occasionally fall below zero, especially in mountainous areas surrounding. With the arrival of spring, from March to May, the climate warms up and nature around the lake begins to bloom. Daytime temperatures increase gradually, with values ranging between 15 and 20ºC March and April, and 20ºC to 25ºC to C in May.
